Cairo by bus for two days

Cairo by bus for two days is a unique trip that will visit our famous tourist attractions slowly over the course of two days, so that you can enjoy the utmost calm and without rush.
You will not only visit the tourist attractions of Cairo, but also the religious places that include Islamic and Christian shrines.

the first day of Cairo by bus for two days:
You will visit: The Egyptian National Museum. The museum includes a rare archaeological collection consisting of 250,000 original artifacts dating back more than 5,000 years, and it is considered the largest collection of Egyptian art in the world. In addition to the recently opened Museum of Kings, which includes the mummies of the Pharaonic kings and queens of Egypt, in addition to all their artistic collectibles, collectibles, and gold artifacts.

The Great Pyramids of Giza, Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure
The Pyramid of Khufu, also known as the Great Pyramid, is the largest and oldest of the trio. Its sides rise at an angle of 51°52′ and point precisely to the cardinal points.
Khafre’s pyramid is considered the second largest pyramid and was built for the fourth king of the Fourth Dynasty. At the top, part of the outer limestone crust remains.
The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three, and was built for the fifth king of the Fourth Dynasty.
On the Giza Plateau, at the gates of Cairo, there are the pyramids. They are more famous than the three: Khafre, Mitserino, and the most famous Khufu; It perfectly matches the stars of Orion’s belt.
Heremkhovo is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that is still preserved. It is the largest, with a height of 140 meters, and the oldest in the world. Its construction began around 2500 BC.
The Sphinx , also that famous statue that represents the body of a lion, the head of a human, and the tail of a bull. It is said to be the guardian of the pyramids.

the second day of Cairo by bus for two days:
You will visit: Saladin Citadel. Saladin decided to build a castle to become the center of Egypt’s rule. It has witnessed historical events throughout Egyptian history, and was the seat of the Egyptian government for several centuries. The Ayyubids, Mamluks, and some Ottomans ruled Egypt from the citadel. It contains more secrets and surprises that you will not discover unless you visit it during one-day tours in Egypt.
The alabaster mosque of Muhammad Ali. It is forbidden in mosques, according to Islamic customs, to photograph people’s faces. There are also no images of icons, so the walls are decorated with various ornaments. The prayer hall is square in shape, 40 meters wide, and the dome is 52 meters high. The windows are decorated with stained glass through which dim light shines. The size of the hall is really impressive – enjoy the spirituality

Church and Monastery of St. George, St. Paul’s Church.
The monastery was founded at the end of the ninth century by Saint Paul of Xiropotamia, son of Emperor Michael I, and was dedicated to Saint George the Victorious. Another tradition says that on this site, before the arrival of Saint Paul, there was an ancient monastery in honor of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos, founded by a person named Stephen during the reign of Emperor Constantine the Great. In the ninth century, the monastery was located on the lands of Xeropotamos and was perhaps attached to it.

The Church of the Virgin Mary is a Coptic church in Old Cairo, above Bab El-Maa. It is also known as the Hanging or Hanging Church
The church is one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt. It dates back to the third century AD. Previously, there was a Roman fort on this site, which served as the foundation. The building took on its modern appearance in the 7th-9th centuries. In the 11th century, the residence of the Patriarch of Alexandria was located here.
The church got its name due to its high location above the bastions of the Roman fort and the water gates.
Inside there is an old iconostasis made of Lebanese cedar wood and inlaid with ivory.
The church contains more than 100 icons, the oldest of which dates back to the eighth century. The church also houses the relics of many saints. The Coptic Museum is located nearby.

Our Cairo by bus for two days trip also has other options, as we can go on a Nile tour to enjoy the great Nile River in a luxurious sailboat or a boat specially prepared for these tours, and even eat lunch.
We will also go on a tour of the old market in Khan al-Khalili to buy perfumes, wonderful spices, oriental clothes, antiques, gifts and souvenirs.
