Description of the Moses Bath area:
An oasis of fruitful palm trees. There is a large bathroom surrounded by a high dome made of refractory bricks, which gives a wonderful aesthetic view. Inside the bathroom are seats that help you sit in the water to relax, and a spring of warm water flows from the bottom of the bathroom.
Outside, there is a large outdoor swimming pool surrounded by water drainage channels, which are renewed regularly after the cleaning operations that take place in all the bathrooms. To the north of this bathroom, there is another small outdoor swimming pool, less deep than the large bathroom, for children to use.
At a height of Mount Musa, there is a cafeteria to provide services to visitors to the area. It includes Bedouin tents, chairs and tables. It also includes some artistic models that express the nature of the Bedouin environment. Visitors to the area are keen to take souvenir photos with these models. On the right of these models there is a ladder to ascend to… The middle of Mount Musa, and some visitors prefer to climb the mountain to the top to see the city of Al-Tur with all its neighborhoods and villages from above.
Near the bathroom is one of the most important monasteries in the South Governorate. It was used in the past as a storehouse for supplies and a rest stop for the Greeks in preparation for continuing on the road to visit the Monastery of St. Catherine.
